PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. - A Friday morning house fire leaves two dead.
According to the Collegeville Volunteer Fire Department, they were called by the Crystal Fire Department to assist with a house fire around 1:30 a.m.
They say the blaze happened at a home in the 13000 Block of Colonel Glenn Road.
Pulaski County deputies say a man and woman were killed in the fire. Both victims appeared to have died from smoke inhalation, authorities said.
"This is the fourth fatal fire that our department has responded to this year. Please, check to make sure your smoke detectors are operating. They DO save LIVES," the Crystal Fire Department said in a Facebook post.
Deputies say the fire does not appear to be suspicious.
