Rape Charge Filed Against Northwest AR Man

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - A Washington County man is jailed on a Rape charge after being accused in an incident involving a 15-year-old girl.

The Fayetteville Police Department (FPD) says Earon Dean Tillman, II, 28, of Elkins, was on probation when the incident occurred on Nov. 18.

According to police, the girl and her mother went to the FPD on Tuesday to file a report. The girl told officers the incident happened on Nov. 18.

She told police she went on a date with Tillman, whom she knew from church.

During the date, she said they went to dinner and bowling before stopping at his apartment where he told her he wanted to get a jacket.

She told police she was downstairs when he called her to come upstairs, where they kissed and she then wanted to stop. She said Tillman put her on his bed and took off their clothes before having sex with her despite her telling him no and trying to push him off.

The girl's mother showed police Facebook messages from Tillman when she confronted him about the incident involving her daughter. The report states that in one of Tillman's messages he admitted having sex with the girl and wrote "the less people know the better..cause you and I both know all someone has to say the wrong thing to someone and I'm in jail."

Tillman was arrested after his probation officer asked him to report to the Benton County Department of Community Correction and was later transferred to the Washington County Detention Center.
