LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The city's only Kmart store is closing later this year.
That's according to Business Insider, which reports that Kmart's parent company Sears Holdings released a list internally on Tuesday of closings that include 16 Sears stores, 49 Kmart stores, and seven auto centers.
The Kmart at 10901 Rodney Parham Rd., store #3120, is on the closure list.
According to the Kmart website, it still operates stores in Cabot and Russellville.
The report states that most of the stores on the list will close in September.
Four Sears stores in Arkansas remain open in North Little Rock, Hot Springs, Fort Smith and Fayetteville, according to the company's website, which also shows five Sears auto centers operating in Arkansas in Little Rock, North Little Rock, Hot Springs, Fort Smith and Jonesboro.
Sears also operates a number of "Hometown Stores" across the state. Click here for the list.
