BENTON, Ark.-- A suspect has been arrested in connection with the Thursday night armed robbery at Tractor Supply Company.
Christopher Marshall, 33, of Malvern was arrested Saturday afternoon at a hotel in Little Rock.
Detectives with Benton Police were able to find Marshall as he checked into the Baptist Health Medical Center in Malvern for medical treatment. He was then transferred to a hospital in Little Rock, where he was released and police tracked him to a nearby hotel and took him into custody.
Marshall faces numerous charges including, two counts of aggravated robbery, theft of property and several other charges.
BENTON, Ark. - Police are trying to find a man who was stabbed by a store worker who fought back during a reported robbery attempt.
The Benton Police Department (BNPD) says they believe they know who the suspect is but are not yet releasing his name.
He is reported to have received stab wounds from a small knife during a struggle with two workers at Tractor Supply Company, 17318 Interstate 30. The incident happened shortly after 9:30 p.m. Thursday.
Police say two employees also received minor injuries in the struggle with the suspect, with one being taken to Saline Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Employees told police they had just closed the store when a man wearing a mask and armed with a handgun came out of nearby bushes and ordered them back into the store.
