SEBASTIAN COUNTY, Ark. - The Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) is searching for a second suspect in an arson investigation.
One arson suspect has already been arrested in the Jenny Lind community, and a second arson suspect remains at large, the SCSO said Monday.
Jesse Stinson, 23, of Fort Smith, was arrested Friday, June 16. Kevin Pinkerton, 23, of Arkoma, OK, still has a warrant out. His whereabouts are unknown at this time.
On May 31, a fire was reported at a duplex in the 2100 block of Old Town Way in Jenny Lind. Witnesses told investigators they saw two men at the duplex running away when the fire started. Investigators then determined that Stinson and Pinkerton were responsible for the loss which amounted to more than $80,000.
Pinkerton has an active warrant for Arson with a $50,000 bond. He is described as a white male with brown hair and brown eyes, 5-feet-9-inches tall and about 140 lbs.
Anyone with information on Pinkerton’s whereabouts is asked to call the Sheriff's Office in Fort Smith at (479) 783-1051.
