Special Election Results for Maumelle & Pope Co.

Update: The listed results reflect the final count of tonight's special elections.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Voters in Maumelle and Pope County cast their ballots in special elections on Tuesday.

In Maumelle, voters are deciding on three ballot initiatives; each one requiring a tax increase for the city. 

Republican voters in Pope County will pick their candidate for state senate in a runoff special election. 

Bob Bailey, a firearms company owner, is up against Breanne Davis, a Russellville School Board member. They are running in Senate District 16. 

The seat has been vacant since Senator Greg Standridge died last fall. 

The winner of the GOP runoff will face Democratic Candidate Teresa Gallegos in the General Election for this seat in May.

Bob Bailey - 3,451 46%
Breanne Davis - 4,264 54%

Total votes: 7,715 votes
