LITTLE ROCK, Ark.-- The kick off to the Spring Kickball season at Interstate Park started this weekend.
Organizers say Little Rock has one of the largest leagues in the country with around 2000 participants and 82 teams between the Spring and Fall seasons. They say its a sport that brings members back to their childhood.
Larry Betz, Founder of Little Rock Kickball Association says, "It harkens back to a simpler time, it's a fun game, everyone understands it, and the beauty of it is that red ball is the great equalizer, anyone can play, any athletic level, any athletic ability."
Little Rock's League started in 2004 and it has four leagues including laid back, novice, intermediate, and competitive. The organization also gives back to kids and animal charities.
