SPRINGDALE, Ark. -- Police are investigating after they say a 16-year-old boy was dropped off at a local hospital on Tuesday night with a life-threatening gunshot wound.
The Springdale Police Department (SPD) says officers were called to Cardinal Dr. and Oriole St. around 11:30 p.m. on a report of multiple gunshots being fired.
While police investigated, they learned of the hospitalized teen. They weren't able to speak with him due to the severity of his injuries.
The SPD says several shell casings were found at Cardinal Dr. and Oriole Street.
Although no suspects have been arrested in connection with the shooting, police say they are looking for a light-colored early 2000s model Ford Crown Victoria.
There's no further word on the teen's condition.
