Two Arrests Made in Searcy Shooting

SEARCY, Ark.  – Police officers arrested two individuals involved in a shooting at the Carmichael Community Center parking lot Tuesday night. 

Around 6 p.m. Jaquan Hollister, 22, reportedly fired two shots at Corey Whitmore, 21, missing him both times. Hollister was apprehended almost immediately by officers without incident. 

Hollister was charged for aggravated assault with no bond. Whitmore was arrested on an unrelated warrant. 

The case is still under investigation.
