LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Two former gang members are using their experience to connect with teens on the streets of Little Rock.
Robert and Rashaan both know what it's like to be on the streets.
But after starting families, they decided they had to change. The acceptance, and guidance they said they found in the streets, they found in church, specifically, the Faith Temple Missionary Baptist Church.
It's there they said they realized there were people that cared about them. Including Pastor Dwayne Lindsey.
Now, they are working together to bring victory over violence. They mentor teens and show them they care. They agree by going out into the community, they can curb violence.
