Tyson Cuts 150 Jobs at Van Buren Facility

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA) - Tyson is cutting 150 jobs from its Van Buren facility.

The office of Van Buren Mayor Bob Freeman confirmed the city received a courtesy phone call from Tyson stating the cuts would happen at the food facility on Monday, March 5.

"Those impacted may be eligible to work at other locations in the River Valley and Northwest Arkansas and we’ll be assisting them with the application process," the company said in a statement.
