UCA to Introduce New Coach Nathan Brown

CONWAY, Ark. (News release) - Nathan Brown will be introduced as the new Head Football Coach at University of Central Arkansas at a noon Monday news conference in the Board Room at Wingo Hall.

Brown, the former UCA Offensive Coordinator, was named Head Football Coach on Saturday by Dr. Brad Teague, UCA Director of Athletics, during halftime of UCA's men's basketball victory over Little Rock at the Farris Center.

Brown, a record-setting quarterback for the Bears from 2005-08, passed for a state record 10,558 yards and 100 touchdowns in his UCA career. He was inducted into the UCA Sports Hall of Fame in the Class of 2016, his first year of eligibility. Brown has been the Bears' Offensive Coordinator for the past four years under former Head Coach Steve Campbell, and coached the quarterbacks position prior to that.
