LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Two homicides and a shooting in Central Arkansas are the crimes of the last week in our unsolved spotlight.
The North Little Rock Police Department continues to search for the person who shot a man to death outside a motel. It happened at the Super 8 on McCain Park Drive around 3:30 Tuesday morning. Police found the victim, Jessee Wade Arthur, 26, lying in the parking lot.
In Pine Bluff, a man with a gunshot wound to the head died after being found inside a car. He was identified as Willie Baines, 30. The Pine Bluff Police Department says Baines was found around 4 a.m. Saturday near 24th and Poplar streets. He was taken to the hospital but died a few hours later. This is Pine Bluff's third homicide of the year.
There's also a search for a suspect in a weekend shooting in Little Rock. It happened outside the Walgreens store at Geyer Springs and Baseline around 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Police say a man was shot in the torso and had to undergo surgery.
