Update: Greenbrier Man Killed in 4-Vehicle Crash

Accident Closes Stretch of Hwy. 65 Outside Conway for 2 Hours

FAULKNER COUNTY, Ark. - A Greenbrier man has died in a four-vehicle accident north of Conway.

It happened around 8:25 a.m. Thursday on Hwy. 65 North near Standford Road.

The Arkansas State Police preliminary accident report identifies the victim as Todd E. Johnston, 43.

The report states that a 2011 Chevrolet headed north stopped suddenly and a 1985 Mack truck traveling behind the Chevrolet veered left into the south traffic lane, striking a 2001 Dodge that Johnston was driving. A 2002 Freightliner traveling behind the Johnston's vehicle veered left to avoid the Dodge but then struck the Chevrolet and the Mack truck.

No one else was injured in the crash.

FAULKNER COUNTY, Ark. - Traffic is moving again along a stretch of Hwy. 65 outside Conway following a morning accident.

The Faulkner County Sheriff's Office reported via social media that the scene had been cleared and traffic flow resumed about two hours after the crash.
