Update: Pine Bluff Shooting Leaves One Dead


PINE BLUFF, Ark. - A shooting at an apartment complex is now a homicide investigation, police say.

On March 14, Pine Bluff Police were called to a shooting that happened near the 2900 block of S. Fir Street. Police say the incident happened around 12:30 p.m.

The victim, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds, has been identified as Lonnie Urquhart Jr., 37. 

Witnesses identified the shooter as 26-year-old Marquanthony Sullivan.  

Police say Urquhart was transported to Jefferson Regional Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.  

Authorities say Sullivan is wanted for First Degree Murder.

At the time of this report, Pine Bluff Police say the man is in critical condition, and is being treated at the Jefferson Regional Medical Center. 

Authorities say the incident happened around 12 p.m. in the 2900 block of S. Fir Street.

Pine Bluff Police say they are searching for the gunman, Marquanthony Sullivan, 26. 

The investigation is ongoing.
