Update: Suspect in Custody for Sept. Pine Bluff Homicide

PINE BLUFF, Ark. - Kevin Rauls was taken into custody early Wednesday afternoon without incident by Pine Bluff Police. 

Officials say Rauls had been wanted for the Sept. 10 murder of Roderick Burnette.

PINE BLUFF, Ark. - Police are looking for a suspect in a Sunday night shooting that left one man dead and another injured.

The Pine Bluff Police Department (PBPD) says Kevin Rauls, 27, is wanted in the incident that happened shortly after 9 p.m. in the 2400 block of South Olive Street at a car wash.

Police say Rauls has addresses in both the White Hall and Conway areas. He was last seen in a newer model black Nissan Altima that may have damage to the windows.

According to police, both victims ran next door to the Sonic Drive-in, where one of them collapsed. He has been identified as Roderick Burnett, 29. Police say he was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The other victim was admitted to the hospital in what police described as stable condition.

The PBPD says the shots were fired during a disturbance and investigators are still working to determine the motive.
