Around 12:30 p.m., two suspects robbed two owners of a Valero, located near the 3200 block of Central Avenue.

The Hot Springs Police Department (HSPD) says the owners had in their possession, approximately $15,800 in cash deposits from the store.  As they were getting into their vehicle, they were approached by two suspects.  Officers say the suspects both had handguns and robbed the owners by forcibly taking the cash from them.

Once the officer pulled behind the vehicle, the suspects fled on foot. As the suspects fled on foot, they began dropping cash as they ran, officials said.

Multiple HSPD officers responded to the area and set up a perimeter.
