LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (News Release) -- Fox16 Sports Director and Fox Sports Arkansas radio show host Wess Moore will be traveling to Reliant Stadium in Houston to cover Super Bowl LI.
Moore, a veteran journalist who has served Little Rock viewers for the last 13 years, will report live for Fox16 throughout Super Bowl week. He'll also provide reports for numerous Nexstar Broadcasting stations across the region.
"Growing up, the Super Bowl was always one of the huge events we never missed," said Moore. "This year, it's an honor to give the viewers of Central Arkansas a look at what's going on in Houston up-to and after the big game."
Moore will work alongside veteran Super Bowl reporter John Kucko and Fayetteville-based journalist Alyssa Orange. Moore will report live for Fox16 News at 5:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. while Orange will appear in the morning during Fox16 Good Day.
Moore serves as the host of Nexstar Broadcasting's Silver Star Nation Dallas Cowboys specials. He hopes to be covering some Arkansas athletes when he makes the trip to Texas.
"Wess has done an exceptional job building our Fearless Friday high school sports coverage efforts and regional Silver Star Nation specials," said Fox16 News Director Austin Kellerman. "It's only natural he brings Central Arkansas viewers coverage of the biggest event in sports."
Super Bowl LI airs Sunday, February 5 on Fox16. Moore's live reports will begin Monday, January 30.
