2 Dead, Child Critical Following Head-On Crash

Two people are dead and a child fighting for his life following a two-car collision this morning in Little Rock.
LITTLE ROCK, AR - Two people are dead following a head-on collision on Stagecoach Road in Little Rock Sunday morning.

The victims in the accident, which occurred around 10 a.m., have been identified as Patricia Miller, 49, and Blake Brown, 26.

Witnesses tell police a white SUV attempted to go around a car and crossed the center line going north on Stagecoach Road. The SUV slammed head-on into a car.

Miller, the driver, and Brown, the passenger, of the car died on impact. A 9-year-old in the back seat was critically injured. The child underwent surgery for a head injury at Arkansas Children's Hospital.

The driver of the vehicle police think caused the accident, suffered injuries to her legs. Those injures aren't considered life threatening.
