LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Two former Little Rock police officers arrested last month have pleaded not guilty to drug-related charges.

Mark Jones' attorney, Ron Davis, says Jones and his half-brother, Randall Robinson, entered the pleas in federal court Tuesday.

Their trial date has been set for July 23.

Jones and Robinson are accused of attempting to aid and abet possession with intent to distribute marijuana, among other charges. They were arrested last month but have since been released.

Robinson resigned from the police department and Jones was terminated.

Robinson's lawyer, William Owen James, didn't immediately return a phone message seeking comment.

Now how can Ron Davis represent Mark Jones when he is the husband of Sgt Cassandra Davis of LRPD PIO? Can you say conflict of interest?
