LUXORA, Ark. (AP) - Authorities say two men trapped in a grain bin filled with soybeans in eastern Arkansas have been freed.

Memphis television station WMC reports that one man was stuck in the grain up to his waist and the second up to his neck in the bin on Arkansas 120 at Luxora - about 50 miles north of Memphis.

The rescue began about noon Monday.

Happens often. Workers go in to shovel the grain around to get it near an auger for removal or just to spread it around...clean the bin, several different things. Unfortunately, the dry grain is like quicksand, once you start sinking you can't get a footing to get out. I wish folks would abide by confined space entry rules and always tie off and have someone outside watching. Two there, two go in... bad news.
