2 small earthquakes in Cleburne County

LITTLE ROCK, AR – Two small earthquakes struck Friday near Greers Ferry Lake by the Van Buren-Cleburne County line

The USGS placed the two quakes about 6 miles south-southeast from Fairfield Bay. The first struck at 7:53am and measured a 2.0 magnitude. The second struck at 7:09pm and measured a 2.4 magnitude.

Another 2.0 magnitude earthquake struck the same place Thursday at 7:49pm.

I was raised in that area. They have happened there all my life. At around 60 that has been a long time. The gas companies just brought in the equipment that let all know they were happening. Not many knew till then. They were small. Only a few were of enough magnitude to notice. You idiots need to quit with the sky is falling BS.

fracking in AR the gas industry is causing this, they let them frac by Greers Ferry Lake is a very bad idea we need clean water more than gas
