ARKANSAS CITY, Ark. (AP) — Authorities say two people were killed in a head-on collision in south Arkansas.
State police say the fatal wreck happened Wednesday morning on Arkansas Highway 4 near Arkansas City. Authorities say a car driven by 62-year-old Susie Bryant crossed the center line of the highway and collided head-on with a car driven by 22-year-old Mahina Powell.
Both women were from Arkansas City.
Authorities say the roads were clear and dry at the time of the collision.
