LITTLE ROCK, AR – Between 200 and 300 pounds of hog guts spilled on Colonel Glenn Road Tuesday afternoon.

The spill happened when the driver, who was towing 40 tons of hog parts, had to stop suddenly to avoid an accident, according to Little Rock Public Works.

Traffic was detoured for a short time while the area was cleaned with bleach and hosed down with water by the Little Rock Fire Department.

There were no injuries in the spill.
