BENTON, AR – Three people have been arrested in connection to the theft of $3,500 worth of copper from Wholesale Electric Supply Company, Inc, according to the Benton Police.

Police say an officer on patrol noticed a “suspicious vehicle” parked behind the store at 3am Sunday morning. When the officer investigated, the vehicle fled the area. Police found it abandoned on Boone Road and say the vehicle was stolen out of Saline County.

Later that day, police arrested Rhiannon Goshien, 36, and charged her with commercial burglary and theft of property. Tuesday, two men were arrested. They are Brandon Richmond, 30, and David Rollans, 40. They are charged with commercial burglary, theft of scrap metal, unauthorized use of another person’s property to facilitate certain crimes, criminal mischief 1st degree, theft by receiving, and fleeing. Additionally, Richmond is also a parolee on active supervision.

Benton Police ask anyone with information about this crime to call 778-1171 or 315-TIPS.

To Butch ... times are hard ... so you need to steal? Oh, okay ... didn't realize that one. ANYONE who wants to work CAN get a job. If I had to flip burgers, that's what I would do. That's what your son should have done until something better came along.

I just opened another office for my security business and I have hired 18 people in the last 3 months because of an increase in business. Do you know how hard it is to find someone that is willing to work? I had over 75 applicants and was barely able to get the 18 I hired to want to work. People are making way to much of a good living on "assistance" than they can working. Fortunately, I am able to offer a very competitive salary and benefits package or I'd be screwed trying to find someone willing to work. People would rather support themselves on the government teat than work an honest days work. To many lazy ass dead beats.

Times are hard. These people may not be lazy. My son was out of work for 6 weeks. Filled out APPS for thousands of jobs. Had to go to south texas just to get one. If hadn't been for granny I don't know what they would have done to feed their kids. Instead of whining like babies on here I ask the people in my area what are they doing to bring in more jobs.

Stop a theft, shoot a thief. People that are to lazy and to sorry to get a job and support themselves are of no use to me. They are nothing but a burden on society. The tax payers have to pay to feed them, give them medical and dental in jail. And the ones of us that earn our money the hard way, by working for it, also foot the bill when businesses have to raise the price of goods due to their insurance going up due to some piece of trash stealing from them. Its a snow ball effect.

Just more worthless tweakers we have to house and feed. Not sure which is @ the bottom of the food chain tweakers or child molesters. Both do not deserve to breath the same air as we do.
