LITTLE ROCK, AR – A Level 3 sex offender, on probation for a 2010 sexual assault conviction, was arrested in Bauxite for possessing multiple images of child pornography, according to Attorney General Dustin McDaniel.

McDaniel says his Cyber Crimes Unit began investigating Michael Rea, 43, back in October when the Malvern Police Department contacted him about the possibility of Rea possessing child porn.

A search of Rea’s home at 6328 Sutton Road in Bauxite found multiple images on Rea’s laptop, according to McDaniel.

Rea was arrested and placed in the Saline County jail on $100,000 bond. Rea is charged with four counts of computer exploitation of a child and 20 counts of distributing, possessing, or viewing matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child.

Rea also faces a probation revocation hearing.

This is why the parole system needs to be abolished. Look at how many repeat offenders there are, and not with just sex offenders. Make the punishment for crimes something to be feared and it may deter some of it.

It is going to have to happen to some of these lame brains that oppose doing away with these creeps before anything happens.I pray no one has to endure this but,in reality it most likely will.Thy don't have any fear because they know they won't do anything to them the jails are over crowed now.

Why do they keep letting these people out of jail, these are the ones that need to be on death row, are the children they hurt not worth it. I mean if they have done it once they will reoffend. How many kids have to be given a life sentence because of these preditors. Make them pay for the torment they cause. Sorry for my misspelled words and yes I have an education just been along day. Just saying
