armyofone; I respectfully disagree. There are elderly people out there that are not that familiar with modern technology. Many have physical impairments. Some have early stages of dementia, but still manage on their own. People that prey on them should be strung up.

People who fall for this crap deserve it. A fool and his money are soon parted.

Use your search engine ( I prefer Google ) and type in Attorney General of Arkansas; should give you the link to the website, and you'll find all the info you need there. Do the same for the National Do Not Call List. I just reported a land line in Fayetteville to the National; they keep calling and I beleive are targeting the elderly, and reported them as such. Funny; when I tried calling the number to tell them to stop calling me, the number was not accepting calls!

Please post the number where to call for those who may need help with it.

Good one Hombre! Reckon I'd tell 'em to bring me the car, then they'd get the money. Not afraid of them knowing where I live though; would love to have some con artists come by for a "visit"! Had some Mormon's come by once. Told them some of my family were murdered by them back in the 1800's, on their way to CA, and didn't like Morman's; they could't get out of here fast enough! LOL These con artists that rip off the elderly really get under my skin. I ask when they call to come by instead of calling; for some reason they don't want to. People that prey on the elderly should be strung up from a tree with a good stout rope, period. Ah for the good ol' days and frontier justice!

I can't believe people are still falling for this one. It has been around for well over a decade and the AG's office and local law enforcement agencies are constantly warning the public about it. I guess people simply get greedy and lose all common sense.
