Between the two sides, almost $2M was spent on this. Nancy Todd's proposal was only fair to one person, herself. She wanted to be the only one that could operate casinos and thats what I'm against. I fully support Arkansas having casinos, but not in this fashion. She mentioned all of the places that would have benefitted from this, one being Children's Hospital. She found a facility that Arkansans love and tried to use it to butter up the public, but it failed. If she is shady enough to change her proposal AFTER the signatures were obtained, I wonder how shady her business tactics are?

Well, we all know the old saying; money talks and BS walks. Kind of makes you wonder if any judges made any money off of this particular ballot measure, doesn't it?

I am a poker player and I would love to have a few casinos in state. I was against her proposal. I also believe the court was wrong in removing it. LET THE PEOPLE DECIDE!!!It had NO CHANCE of passing. NONE

Glad it was removed, but it wouldn't have passed in an election with the citizens of Arkansas anyway. Arkansas is not about to let some outsider make a fortune off the poor, while destroying our property values and schools. Go back to Vegas and leave us be.

And bat102 displays exactly the kind of people living in Arkansas. Horrible grammar use and lack of knowledge other than what is spun in the media. Now please go crawl back under your rock.

I DON'T THINK ANYONE WANTS AN INDIVIDUAL OR A COMPANY TO GET EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS TO GAMBLING IN ARKANSAS...WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE DOG TRACK AND THE HORSE TRACK ALREADY OPERATING. If it EVER gets to the voters, it needs to be competitive...Believe me, as evidenced by the lottery tickets sold...there are enough people to support more than one or two locations.
