2 years from now the kids will not get any money and all the funds will be used for other areas that will benefit the state workers that oversee the scholarship funding... The sales of tickets are not down and if anything they are up so quit blowing smoke up the peoples butts that buy these tickets and just tell us you want the money used to fund more pork for the state. How about all those that pork jobs donate $25,000 to the College fund instead of trying to find other money to steal for your pleasure spending. I knew that this smoke screen about the Lottery being for the kids was Crap from the very beginning.

Reducing the amount awarded is not the answer. $3300 per year will not even cover one semester. Raise the standard for ACT scores and GPA. 19 on the ACT is a joke. Why give a scholarship to someone who will not succeed in college? Give more to the students who will stay in school and graduate. The current system does nothing more than give kids some spending money while they fail out.

We the People agreed to the lottery for the scholarships. If the kids are going to have cuts, then we need to get rid of the lottery. I did not agree to have the lottery in this State to pay outrageous wadges for people who pretty much do nothing. It was for the scholarships ONLY!!! I am tired of being Lied to by greedy people!!!!! Lets vote to get rid of the lottery!!!!! NOW!!!!

In other news, Lottery executives and employees get raises and bonuses this year. Idiots.

We'll be lucky if this program is still in operation in 5 years. Thanks Bill Halter. Great idea.
