LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Federal prosecutors say an Arkansas probation and parole officer accused of collecting money from drug traffickers under her supervision has been arrested.
A court document filed Monday accuses 38-year-old Roxanne Davis of Wynne of accepting cash payments from a convicted murderer who had been paroled and a man who was on probation from two drug-trafficking convictions.
In return for the cash, prosecutors say Davis didn't enforce their parole and probation conditions.
Prosecutors say Davis also alerted the parolee to investigators' interest in his drug-trafficking activities.
Prosecutors say Davis was intercepted talking to the parolee on a wiretap used in a corruption and drug trafficking investigation dubbed Operation Delta Blues.
Court records didn't list an attorney for Davis, who is slated to go before a judge Monday afternoon.
