LITTLE ROCK, AR - Christians around the world and in Arkansas attend Good Friday services.
That's the day Christians believe Jesus Christ was crucified.
At the Cathedral of Saint Andrew in downtown Little Rock, parishioners participate in a solemn service to remember that day.
"It tells all of us that God loved us so much that He'd be willing to step down, become a man, and enter into our suffering and to suffer with us. By taking on that suffering, He actually gives us His own life," explained the Cathedral's Jeff Hebert.
The holy weekend culminates with Easter Sunday, in which believers say Jesus rose from the dead.
