Arkansas Airports on Alert After Plane Goes Missing

Authorities across the state are searching for what they believe to be a stolen private plane. For that reason, airports across Arkansas are on alert.
FAYETTEVILLE, AR - Authorities across the state are searching for what they believe to be a stolen private plane.  For that reason, airports across Arkansas are on alert.

XNA officials and police searched the Highfill airport Tuesday morning after the FAA gave them the warning.  They did not find the missing aircraft.

Authorities are unsure if and when the plane landed. 

It's described as a single-engine, low-wing plane with the tail number N960CM.
