LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — The Arkansas Democratic Party has set its election night watch party at a restaurant in downtown Little Rock. Republicans will be at a hotel in the capital city's west side.
The Democrats said Monday that they'd gather at Cotham's in the City on West 3rd Street. Republicans will be at the Embassy Suites off Financial Center Parkway.
The stakes are high for both parties, with Republicans trying to take control of the Legislature for the first time since after the Civil War. Democrats are fighting to hold onto slim majorities in both houses.
The Republican are also hoping for a sweep of the state's four U.S. House seats.
