Little Rock, AR-- Hundreds of people gathered in downtown Little Rock Sunday for the Arkansas March for Life.

Planners say people come to remember the lives lost since the January 22, 1973 Supreme Court Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion.

"We are standing up for people who say abortion is okay because its not, its ending a life and that's never okay," said participant Bethany Jaques.

The group is putting action behind their words, working on three bills that would address the issue locally.

"One of them is to ban abortions on children who can feel pain, which is at 20 weeks. We are going to try to opt out abortion coverage in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. So we don't want funding for abortions. And then the last one is webcam abortions," said Arkansas Right to Life Executive Assistant Hannah Trice.
