The Arkansas Sheriff's Association has issued a statement saying they support the Constitution and second amendment rights.

The executive director says they recognize that the recent increase in violence is raising questions related to the sale and possession of firearms.

He goes on to say the association supports enforcement of the existing gun laws and strengthening background checks, but not legislation that restricts current gun possession and gun sales to our citizens because it weakens our second amendment rights.

Hat's off to the AR Sherriff's Association. Nobama and his left wing socialist cronies will not succeed in taking away our Bill of Rights. Soldiers, Marines, Sailors, Airmen, and the Coast Guard - they all took an oath to protect the Constitution from domestic enemies as well. I suspect LEO's would also support our rights as outlined in the Constitution.
