WYNNE, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas State Police are investigating a bar brawl in Wynne that led to the death of a man who was taken to a hospital.
The incident occurred June 27 at the Salty Kracker on South Wilson Street in the small Arkansas Delta city of Wynne.
State police say 26-year-old Alan David Holt died at the Medical Center in Memphis, Tenn., after being taken there for treatment.
The Times-Herald of Forrest City report that investigators are interviewing people involved in the brawl and workers at the nightspot.
Holt's body was sent to the state medical examiner's office for an autopsy.
State police are expected to forward the result of their investigation to prosecutors, who will file any charges.
