Arkansas Tech University is hoping to extend its Career Center Cervices to students through a Clarksville satellite program.

The State Board of Career Education has approved a health, science, technology program at Clarksville High School.

These centers offer high school students advanced courses while earning concurrent college credit.

The satellite makes travel easier for currently enrolled students, and will allow students not currently served to participate.

The plan for the satellite campus is contingent upon funding from the legislature this session.
