Arkansas lawmakers subpoena treasurer over audit

State Treasurer Martha Shoffner's office said Friday she'll appear before a legislative panel next week after her absence at a hearing on an audit of her office's investment practices prompted Arkansas lawmakers to issue a subpoena.

You hate cops; I don't. That's where our "friendship" began. I've been in jail a few times; albeit for only a few hours each time. I've had the crap beaten out of me by 4 El Paso cops. But I was drinking, and called them some very nasty names just before getting my a** whipped. My fault. I sense your hatred of cops goes much deeper. Had problems with the law Dude? And your dissing veterans is beyond comprehension. Now that one I just don't understand. Again, try being positive; you'll like it! Maybe.

Yes, I get carried away sometimes. Must be the writer in me. My Comp II intructor advised me to go on to a four year institution and obtain a writing degree. Dude; you sound like a bitter, lonely, old man. Why so negative all the time? Try being positive for a change; you might have a longer and happier life! May God grant you Peace.

The evening news reported Ms. Shoffner did not show up although there was a subpoena for her to do so. She said she had a scheduling conflict. Sounds like she needs the weekend to get her lies in order. Like one of our frequent posters says; one leads to another, and another, until it get's out of hand. Like a snowball rolling downhill. Just get's bigger and bigger.
