LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — The Arkansas attorney general's office is hosting an event this weekend to assist families who are searching for missing relatives.
The "Never Forgotten — Arkansans Take Action" event is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at Arkansas State Police Headquarters in Little Rock.
Families of missing adults are encouraged to bring as much information as possible about their missing relatives — including police reports, photographs and dental records. Analysts from the Arkansas Crime Laboratory will be on hand to take DNA samples.
According to the Arkansas Crime Information Center, there are 453 active missing persons cases in Arkansas. The crime lab now holds 79 sets of unidentified remains.
