LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - The Arkansas unemployment rate for August was 7.3 percent, the same as the month before.

The Arkansas Workforce Services Department said Friday the civilian labor force decreased by 3,600 in the month and that 3,000 more people were unemployed in the month.

The national unemployment rate fell by two-tenths of a percentage point from 8.3 percent in July to 8.1 percent in August.

Workforce Services Department spokeswoman Kimberly Friedman says there are 11,000 fewer unemployed Arkansans than there were in August of last year.

Four more years of Obama and you can triple that number to 21.9%. It will NOT get any better than you have now with Obama.
