Attorney General on Exxon

Arkansas' Attorney General says he's happy that Exxon-Mobil will continue housing Mayflower Oil Spill victims.

LITTLE ROCK, AR-(News Release) Attorney General Dustin McDaniel issued the following statement today in response to Exxon-Mobil's reversal of its decision to discontinue financial assistance to displaced Mayflower residents on Sept. 1st:

"As I said yesterday, no families have left their homes to live in a motel because that's what they wanted to do."

"Although I am happy that Exxon has retreated from the cold-hearted policy that it announced just yesterday, I am again frustrated with the company. I am angry that families had to experience that level of stress and that it took so much public outcry for Exxon to change its position"
