PLEASANT PLAINS, Ark. -- According to Region 8 News in Jonesboro, police in Independence County are on the scene of a shooting.
According to the Independence County Sheriff's Department, a person has been shot and the suspect is in custody.
Police would not release who was shot, where they were shot or the extent of their injuries.
They say the investigation is ongoing.
