There have been three house fires in 24 hours on the same Little Rock street.  Two are confirmed as arsons. Making matters worse, a few days ago there was a drive by shooting.  Neighbors are living in fear, uneasy about what's going to happen next.  The damage is extensive.

"You're putting people in danger, you're endangering lives, never has this happened, I grew up in this house," said Sharon Brown.

Sharon Brown is speaking out to whomever is setting these homes on fire. Her elderly mother lives in this neighborhood. Sharon says many who live here are afraid to go to sleep because they don't know if their house is going to be set on fire next.

"It's crazy man, whoever it is has no sense, they should be behind bars," said Chris Green.

The house on 2515 South Summit was set on fire around 6:30 am, a few days ago someone shot it up in a drive-by shooting.  Right now police say they're investigating to see if the drive-by is related to the arsons. But it's possible two feuding families could be to blame.

Sharon's mom, heard the shots.  "She was definitely afraid, she woke me up at 5:30 and told me there was a shooting, my son called, and said there was a shooting, and that he heard five shots, it's ridiculous, this is ridiculous," said Brown.

Here's what happened, Friday at 4:30 am, one house was set on fire. And then Saturday, at 6:30 am, someone set another house on fire, luckily no one was home. About five hours later firefighters got another call that the house right next door was burning. Captain Randy Hickmon says right now it looks like there was a rekindling from this house.

"Apparently, something blew into the attic, the heat camera didn't show anything, it hid under insulation, and was impossible to find," said Captain Randy Hickmon.

"My mom is elderly, there is no way this neighborhood should look like this, there is too much crime, it's a shame, we pay all these taxes, the city won't do anything about this," said Sharon Brown.

rbudj, as usual you has nothing to say but an uneducated guess. We have lived here for 3 years and never felt violated or been a victim of a hate crime. Fact of the matter is Little Rock is dangerous and you have to live where you feel safe. I totally agree with JoLanaT, with no discipline there is kaos.

There are too many kids ruling the roost and too many parents afraid to be parents. This is what happens when you no longer have the right to discipline the children and they are the ones holding the reins of authority. It it time for parents to step up and take charge again. The government needs to step back and let adults be adults again.

Little Rock is the most dangerous place I have ever lived. That is why my family moved to Hot Springs. Its bad when you have to pick up and move just to be safe. Too bad police can't get crimes like this under control. I, until recently, worked in Sherwood in a safe neighborhood. Until last Friday we were robbed by 2 girls. These young people have gone MAD !
