Bank robber suspect sought in Carlisle

CARLISLE, AR – The Carlisle Police Department is looking for a suspect in connection to a bank robbery that occurred on Monday morning.

The suspect is male, has been described as possibly wearing a black top with a hoodie, and is suspected of robbing the Bank of England on Park Street between 9:30 and 10:00 a.m.

A nearby school was placed under lockdown while police conducted a search for the suspect.

Well, as usual to find out what race he was, had to wait for another reporting agency to write their story. Here is what the Arkansas Democrat had to say....""""The robber was described as a black male who was clad in a black top with a hood, black pants and tennis shoes that may be red or orange. He also had on a ski mask and a ball cap with “NY” on it.""""
