CLAY COUNTY, AR – Officials from the Clay County Sheriff's Office says a body found near railroad tracks is that of a missing 79-year old Texas man.
Andrew Haukereid was on an Amtrak train from San Antonio to Chicago to celebrate his 80th birthday with his sons last month,
but he never arrived.
A Union Pacific employee
spotted a body near the tracks in Clay County on June 16.
Sheriff Gerald McClung says a wallet with Haukereid's credit cards were found near the body.
The state medical examiner is ruling his death as undetermined at this time.
