SHERWOOD, AR – The body of a murdered elderly woman found Tuesday night near Jacksonville has been confirmed to be the body of 74-year-old Katherine Cleary.

Police said the body was found off of Wooten Road, near Jacksonville. Wooten Road is about 2 miles north of where Cleary's car was found, near the Galloway exit off of I-40.

The body was found using tips from two women who have been arrested in connection to Cleary’s disappearance. Sonia Bell and Rhonda Glassburner-Strong were arrested and charged with theft for using Cleary's credit card at a WalMart in Jacksonville. Sherwood police say that the women told them that some of Cleary's property could be found near Wooten. Instead, investigators found a body.

Cleary had been missing since Monday morning, when police responded to an alarm call at her home. When police arrived, Cleary and her car were not there and drawers in her bedroom were pulled open.

This is truly ghetto, thuggish, no working white trash... There should not be a trial for these whatever they are, because they are not of human orgin to do this or even be an accomplice to murder a sweet lady that just didn't have a chance. May Katherine Cleary RIP & RIL.. God's got the last say so..

Unbelievable! I agree with everyone else- why steal the old lady? Why kill the old lady? Can't wait for the answers- was it just the two? Please follow up fox16- and she had an alarm- did they get on it or wait? tree and rope are too good if they did it intentionally- let them rot in the sum strapped to the tree-

Wow, THEY look like a couple of real winners. Low life trash...must have made them feel big to murder an elderly person. There's a special place in hell for scum like this. Prayers for Mrs. Cleary's family. My thoughts are with you.

This is so sad, This woman lived 74 long years just to be ended by a couple of low life drug addicts who just needed their next score. Love and Hugs go out to this her family and my God Bless them.

I had been saying prayers that this would not be the outcome on this story. If you wanted the credit cards, just take them. If you wanted the car, just take it. But to murder an elderly woman is SICK!!! Get off the meth & get a real job. I am sooooo sick of the meth heads in AR or should I say Pulaski County alone. It is unbelievable that people can be so mean & twisted. My prayers go out to the Cleary family. May God give you guidance in this time of sorrow. May the judge put them away for good. The bible says "an eye for an eye". I think we ought to srart living by this and maybe, just maybe, we could rid out the bad!!! I am just so mad & sad that this happened. Would you do this to your own mother or grandmother? May you rott in HELL!!! I know it is not for me to judge the bad, but God will give his own judgement when the time comes.
