CABOT, AR – On April 9th, voters in Cabot will decide whether to extend an existing sales tax to help fund 6 major projects for the city.

As the third fastest growing city in the state, there is demand to keep up with infrastructure. The city has plans to build a new library, water park, and a north interchange on Highway 67/167. There are also plans to upgrade the baseball complex and make improvements to the waste water system.

The city is hosting several town hall meetings to help inform voters about the projects.

“That is our goal. We want to provide the information about the projects and ask the voters to look at the facts, look at the details, and decide how they would or would not support this,” said Mayor Bill Cypert.

The next meeting is at 7pm on March 26th at the Cabot Junior High south campus.
