NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR - The Arkansas National Guard has put out a wildfire sparked by weapons training Sunday.

The Guard's 77th Theater Aviation Brigade doused the flames with approximately 8,000 gallons of water and flame retardant from their UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters which are housed on post.

The fire burned between 500 to 700 acres in the vicinity of one of the post's small arms ranges and surrounding impact area. No equipment or facilities were damaged in the fire.
