Car Lands in Hot Springs Creek, Teen Driver Able to Get Out

Hot Springs Daily: Conditions were rainy at the time of the accident.

HOT SPRINGS, AR-- A teen is recovering after her car ended up in a creek after a wreck in Hot Springs Friday.

The car rolled into the creek after leaving the road and striking a guard rail around 3:15 p.m., according to KLRT Content Partner Hot Springs Daily.

The 18-year-old driver of the car was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Rainy weather may have contributed to the wreck.

A guard rail was damaged in the accident and is undergoing repairs.
