WASHINGTON D.C - Some Arkansans serving in the military overseas are getting a taste of home, thanks to one of their U.S. senators.
Senator Mark Pryor’s office has sent care packages to Arkansas troops stationed in Afghanistan.
The care packages include a video message from Pryor, cards from Arkansans, and that's not all.
The troops are also getting bags of Juanita’s Candy Kitchen Peanut Brittle from the shop in Arkadelphia.
Pryor says it's his office staff's way of showing the troops gratitude for their service and to give them a touch of home.
